CHIEF BRINER

CHRIS COBURN

Always comfortable on the water, Chris was born with the brine of the Pacific in his blood. Even as a child his insatiable appetite for adventure and exploration was only tempered by his love for food and pickles. His obsession with deep briny flavors is now being used to benefit mankind.

Born in Seattle and growing up in the Queen Anne Hill neighborhood, the family would venture out to the pick your own farms in the Puget Sound region. They would bring this fresh picked produce home and preserve their harvest so that they could enjoy the local bounty year round.

Today Chris would like to share this family tradition, through his artisanal pickles and pickled products.

MAKHAN "MAK": SEATTLE PICKLE CO. MASCOT

Mak arrived on our local shores in 2013. From there it's been his lifelong mission to root out only the finest quality products. Initially focusing on cured meats, he soon shifted to pickles and pickled products. That's when he found Seattle Pickle Co.

Mak says about the pickle, "It's not just a garnishment, it's part of the meal!"
